Sherman Residence, Ramat Hasharon
The house is located in a suburb outside of Tel Aviv, part of a typical residential neighborhood that consists of single-family houses on relatively small plots. The design offers an interpretation of the typical pitched-roof house. A welcoming Mediterranean courtyard leads visitors to the entrance of the three-level residence. The ground level, containing the living room, the kitchen, and a study, extends into the garden blurring the boundary between exterior and interior. The other two levels buffer the public one from above, billowing out to create the private upstairs areas of the house.
