The building is located at the Technion – Israel Institute of Technology – campus in Haifa.
The program called for two distinct elements – workshop areas and offices for researchers. Since the workshop areas have highly specific requirements such as insulation from high radiation and flexibility, the building is divided spatially into two parts. The workshop areas are articulated as large floors extending into the rolling hills of the surrounding site, while the offices create a welcoming façade and friendly workspace for the building's inhabitants, and maintain a direct connection to the adjacent workshop areas.
